Matthew's family would like to thank everyone for giving Matthew a great send off. We would also like to thank everyone for their overwhelming support and kindness during this very sad time in our lives.
Matthew Heenan...what can we say about you little fella! Well me and Kyle first met Matty at Newcastle College in Sept 2005 on a full-time course to become an electrician/electrical engineer. You were a complete legend mate since the day we met you, always full of jokes and laughter. We can remember when you were totally addicted to the bandits in whatever bar we went to on our dinner break. You know...just like that time you put £70 in a bandit...which only gave out a £25 jackpot haha, you cracka! Even though you were a cheeky little brat you had the best personallity anyone could of wished for and thats what made you so special to us. We have done this site for you Matty for when we want to have a little time to think about all the crazy stuff we done in college together. Oh matty...one more thing...Baba Hassain is still in love with you matey hahaha :D just kidddin pal, but what a laugh we had with that nutter in our class lol. All this time me and Kyle have called you 'little' i can bet you your £30 EMA lol when we join you up there you will be 6ft6 and built like a beast haha. Well Matty mate, God always asked for an angel pal, and now he's got one, so you look after yourself up their mate and me and Kyle and the rest of the lads from college will be up there with you sooner than you know it...(kicking ya ass at pool...as usual) haha :-)
Will be thinking of you everynight mate, and try and stick with one girl up their...not 2 or 3 or...ermm 4 even matty :-) haha. We know what your like haha.
Your gonna be missed more than anything to me and Kyle mate, and all the lads at college have wished you well and you behave ya self up there lil man :)

Hi Matty. Happy 21st Birthday from the Brisbane Posse!
We hope you are having a great time; in a place where the beer is cold, the girls are warm and the sun is hot!
We miss you loads and are sad you are not around to enjoy your special day, but we will celebrate for you. We raise a glass to you quite regularly [Boyd in particular ensures he does not let you down on that front!] At least you do not have to look forward to wrinkles, dentures and a zimmer frame! You will stay your gorgeous self....
It's hard to believe the toddler who was obsessed with vacuum cleaners grew up to be such a gorgeous fella! I looked for a photograph for your 21st birthday card of you with Nana's hoover but could not find it...... you will thank me for that! There are plenty of nude shots [age 3 and below!] but I love you too much to do that to you!

Just to let all Matty's friends know that his family wish for you all to help them celebrate Matty's 21st. It is on Friday 25th September, 7pm to late at The Piper, Farrington Road. See Jackson, Karl, Theresa, Annette or any family member for a ticket, there is no charge for this but you must have one to attend. This is a celebration so come along and have some fun. here mate things have changed so much since u left us. i miss u alot and it really hits home time to time. i feel this is the only way that i can say how i feel to u. crimbo is just next week and it feels just like yesturday we were away on our hols. time flys too quick.
